The antique queen-size bed with matching dresser was crafted of burl walnut. The massive headboard nearly reaches the ceiling and is uniquely adorned with a large mirror. The bed found its beginnings in a small gold rush town of Ouray, Colorado in the 1850's.
The adjoining sitting room and breakfast nook is in the turret of the tower which provides a commanding view of historic downtown Weatherford. An elegant breakfast on china and crystal will be served here if you so elect.
The Suite has it's own balcony with a spectacular view of the courthouse and on a dark, clear night the tops of the sky scrapers in downtown Fort Worth come ablaze.
The bathroom provides a relaxing Jacuzzi whirlpool tub and unique wraparound shower tower. The large marble-topped two basin sink is an antique walnut wash-stand from an English boarding house.
The soft cotton bathrobes and slippers are found in the burl walnut armoire, which provides room for all your hanging clothes.
There is cable TV/VCR and a clock radio for your enjoyment. Located on the second floor of the ballroom, the King David Suite makes the perfect honeymoon suite.
